Delete your account
Updated July 30, 2026
How do I delete my account?
Open Verso, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account. You will be asked to confirm twice before anything is deleted, so there is no risk of an accidental tap.
What gets deleted?
Deleting your account permanently removes your streak, favorites and saved verses, reading history, reflections and plan progress, and the account itself — on every device. This cannot be undone.
Anonymized technical records that are not linked to you — such as shared render caches — may remain.
Does this cancel my subscription?
No. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Billing is handled by Apple or Google, so if you also want to stop being billed, cancel it there — see the subscription instructions on our Support page.
I never created an account
Verso works without signing up, so you may not have an account to delete — in that case the in-app option is not shown. If you still want the data tied to your device erased, email versobibleapp@gmail.comfrom that device and we'll take care of it.
Can't open the app?
Email versobibleapp@gmail.comand we'll help you delete your account and data.
